- Possible comm port irq conflict? Com4 and Com2 by default share IRQ 3.

- Also, com4 has a conflict with some S3 video cards.

- I usually like to see modems on Com2 if possible. If internal, and you can
- find how to disable your normal Com2 port, try setting the modem to Com2,
- IRQ3.
